Cancer Update 3

Today my father had his port surgery for his Chemo .We had to be at the hospital at 530am and they never took him for the surgery till 800am. The procedure took about 1 hr and the Dr came out to the waiting room to let us know that he was heading into recovery. And then more waiting then 1 1/2 hrs later he was awake and eating. He did great. Tomorrow he starts his first round of Chemo (6 hours). I am a little worried about it but my father is handling it extremely well.
