Gay People

I have something I want to talk about. I like to show off pictures of my nephews, niece, and my little cousin. I showed one of my guy friends a picture of my little cousin and his two moms. He got quiet and did not talk to me for the rest of the day. The next day he pulled me aside and told me he was gay and that i was the first person he told. One day he started telling me about this guy he met, his first boyfriend. He told everyone else he has a girlfriend. I see him soo happy talking about this guy but he is soo afraid to tell anyone else the truth. I just want him to be happy and be able to be himself. Another thing that happened was when I was at lunch with a friend of mine. We started talking and i brought up the topic of the show Glee. My friend told me that Kurt and all gay people should be killed. I just don't understand how anyone could think that. If your best friend or a family member came up to you and said, "I am gay" would you still think they should be killed? I am not gay but i have some friends who are. Should i be killed to? Where does it end? I just don't understand what is wrong with just wanting everyone to be happy, healthy, and to be themselves. Leave a comment and tell me what you think.
